Recently a shocking theft unfolded in the Netaji Pally area of Siliguri Ward Number 37 where the thieves made off with valuables and cash worth lakhs. Actually the incident led to a widespread commotion in the entire region. On Tuesday morning, local teacher Rama Nandi of the Netaji Pally area, left for school. After returning home later in the evening, Nandi actually found that the door of the house was locked from inside. Additionally, the grill of the window was allegedly tampered with and broken and cash and jewellery were stolen.
During this Nandi alerted the locals about the incident and subsequently, the police were informed. The police officers have initiated an investigation into the theft. This is very sad incident and people need to take it very seriously. If people find anything suspicious related to thief then they should inform about it immediately. Also police should take this case very strictly and take proper action to solve it.
