Recently the NJP police station has arrested an individual identified as Nizamuddin, a resident of Bihar, in connection with an attempted cattle trafficking operation. Actually the arrest occurred during a raid conducted by the police on Sunday night near the Fulbari Bypass Toll Gate adjacent to Siliguri. In fact police sources revealed that 26 cows were recovered from a container truck during the operation, based on a tip-off. Actually the cattle were reportedly being transported from Ghoshpukur towards Jalpaiguri.
Following the arrest, the accused driver was actually presented before the Jalpaiguri District Court on Monday. The police are currently investigating the entire incident. This is actually very bad incident as this type of activity is happening and harming our society. In fact people should take these things very seriously and inform about it if they find anything suspicious related to it. Also police should take this type of things very strictly and control it so that this type of activity does not happen.
