An atmosphere of grief and mourning has actually engulfed Fulbari after the tragic road accident that killed Abhijit Roy (18), a resident of Bhundaru Gachh under the Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat in the Rajganj block. The incident took place on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway in the Jiaganj area adjacent to Fulbari. According to reports, on Thursday afternoon, Abhijit was headed towards Fulbari on his motorcycle to deposit the money for the installment of his two-wheeler when he was struck by a lorry. Consequently, the youth was knocked down and his motorcycle was severely damaged. Upon receiving the information, the NJP police and the officials of the Fulbari Highway Traffic Outpost promptly arrived at the scene.
