Recently a horrifying incident surfaced where a goods-laden lorry lost control and overturned on the roadside in an area adjacent to Fatapukur on Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway (NH) in Rajganj. According to reports, on Tuesday evening, a lorry loaded with flour was heading towards Mathabhanga from Siliguri. During this, the lorry abruptly lost control and overturned on the roadside near Fatapukur. Fortunately in this incident the driver and his assistant narrowly escaped.
Upon receiving the news, the cops of Rajganj police station actually arrived at the spot, recovered the lorry and initiated an investigation into the incident. This is actually very sad incident as today road has become very unsafe to use. In fact for any place road is a very important infrastructure and everything depends on it. Today it becomes our duty to follow traffic rules very strictly and make road a safe place to use. Actually it is good that no major loss happen in this incident.
