Ranjit Bora murder case, prime accused shoot dead

Assam Police shoot down prime accused in killing businessman Ranjit Bora on Saturday.

According to the sources, the deceased is identified as Shah Alam Tendulkar and he was under Police custody at Sonapur, Assam.

On Saturday, while he was being taken to the crime spot, Shah Alam tried to escape from Police custody. So Shah Alam was shoot down during the movement.

On Friday night, a police officer said he was nabbed from Sonapur area, there he tried to flee again, prompting personal of the force to shoot him.

Ranjit Bora was a distributor of the West Assam MilkProducers’ Co-operative Union Ltd and shoot dead on November 21. Also other accused of the crime were arrested on February.
