Amritpal Singh, pro-khalistan leader was arrested by India police and is kept in Dibrugarh jail. The Khalistan leader has recently launched hunger strike in the jail along with nine more fellow detainees.
According to the sources, the Khalistan leader’s lawyer was restricted to access their jail premises.
On the other hand, Kirandeep Kaur, wife of Amritpal has also begun a hunger strike to demonstrate solidarity with her husband.
Further, the pro-Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh has chosen Rajdev Khalsa as his lawyer, but the premises has allowed another lawyer of their choice instead of Rajdev Khalsa. The demand is to allow lawyer Rajdev Khalsa to meet the khalistan leader Amritpal.
