In a significant breakthrough, the cops of the Bhaktinagar police station have recently arrested four miscreants prior to executing a major crime. The arrested miscreants have been identified as Mantu Sarkar, Tantu Raha, Sambhu Roy and Bishu Barman. According to police sources, the cops of the Bhaktinagar police station had received a tip-off regarding a few miscreants gathered in a ground near Shewmangal High School. Acting on the tip-off, the Bhaktinagar police actually reached the spot in a patrol van. As the miscreants spotted the police van, they attempted to flee. During this, the police managed to apprehend four miscreants. Subsequently, the patrolling team initiated a search and recovered certain weapons from their possession.
Following an interrogation, the police team learned that the miscreants had gathered to execute a robbery plan. On Thursday, all four arrested accused have been produced before the Jalpaiguri court, while the police are engaged in further investigation of the matter.
