Atishi, the Delhi Electricity Minister, met with a group of farmers on Friday and maintained her claim that Lt. Governor VK Saxena and the BJP were attempting to block farmers from receiving free energy for their homes and law offices.
In retaliation, the BJP called the minister a liar and asserted that farmers in Delhi were compelled to pay their electricity bills at commercial rates.
