The Punjab National Bank (PNB) Home Loan Expo, organized by PNB NJP Siliguri Circle, witnessed strong participation as 141 potential buyers explored home financing options. The two-day event, held on July 7 and 8, was inaugurated by Sh Rabin Thapa, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Siliguri, alongside Sh Atish Rout, General Manager, PNB Head Office, New Delhi, and Sh Manish Debbarma, Deputy General Manager & Circle Head, New Jalpaiguri (Siliguri) Circle.
The expo brought together 12 reputed builders from Siliguri and Tata Solar, showcasing new residential projects and sustainable energy solutions. PNB officials emphasized that the expo aimed to facilitate easier access to home loans and strengthen the housing finance sector in the region.
Siliguri has been witnessing consistent growth, driven by expanding infrastructure, connectivity, and increasing demand for affordable and mid-segment housing. The city’s strategic location as a commercial gateway to Northeast India has spurred investments in residential projects. The strong buyer response at the expo indicates rising homeownership aspirations in Siliguri, making it a key market for both developers and financial institutions. PNB’s initiative aligns with this momentum, offering competitive financing solutions to support the city’s housing sector growth.
