In a focused Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intervention aimed at public health support, Punjab National Banks Circle Office New Jalpaiguri (Siliguri) donated a mortuary van to Siliguri District Hospital on May 22, 2025. The initiative highlights PNBs sustained investment in regional infrastructure as part of its long-term community engagement strategy.
The market welcomed this socially responsible move, especially in the Siliguri healthcare ecosystem, where demand for critical support services has been rising. The handover ceremony was attended by key dignitaries including Siliguri Mayor Shri Gautam Deb, Dr. Tulsi Pramanik (CMOH, Darjeeling District), and Dr. Chandan Ghosh (Superintendent, Siliguri District Hospital). Representing PNB were Shri Sanjiv Kumar, Zonal Manager of Durgapur Zone, and Smt. Sarita Singh, Circle Head, New Jalpaiguri.
