PM Modi in Navi Mumbai today!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day visit to Maharashtra starting October 8. He will first arrive in Navi Mumbai and at around 3 PM, take a walkthrough of the newly constructed Navi Mumbai International Airport. By 3:30 PM, he will officially inaugurate the airport and launch several developmental projects in Mumbai.

On October 9, PM Modi will host UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in Mumbai at 10 AM. At 1:40 PM, both leaders will attend the CEO Forum at the Jio World Centre, followed by their participation in the 6th Global Fintech Fest at 2:45 PM, where they will also deliver keynote speeches.

The Navi Mumbai International Airport stands out with features like an Automated People Mover (APM) system that connects all four terminals and the city-side infrastructure, alongside Mumbai’s first fully underground metro line, transforming transit across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

PM Starmer’s visit marks his first official trip to India, aimed at reviewing the India–UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership under ‘Vision 2035’. Discussions will focus on CETA, trade, technology, defence, energy, education, and global issues.

The Global Fintech Fest 2025 at Jio World Centre will gather over 100,000 participants from 75+ countries, with 7,500 companies and 800 speakers.
