Pearl Academy’s ‘Creative Career Conclave’ in Kolkata

India’s leading creative education institution–Pearl Academy– organised its ‘Creative Career Conclave’ (CCC) in Kolkata. The forum brings together representatives from creative industries and creates an interactive space for them to engage with students and parents, and address questions about careers in fashion and design. The panelists discussed the uniqueness of creative careers, which prioritize flexibility, exploration, and self-expression.

 Antonio Maurizio Grioli, Shabnam Alam, Nina Mazumdar, Kiran Uttam Ghosh, and Gunjan Jain encouraged students to explore their passions and focus on navigating the constantly evolving landscape of fashion and design. They also emphasized the need for students to develop a wide range of skills to excel, from technical abilities to networking and personal branding. Pearl Academy has been shaping design experts for 30 years and is committed to transforming individuals into well-rounded design professionals.

 They have identified three key factors necessary for students to become complete design professionals: keeping up-to-date with relevant technology, mastering life skills, and gaining global exposure.
