On Vande Bharat trains, Indian Railways introduces the service of regional cuisines

In an effort to improve the traveler experience, Indian Railways has started serving regional cuisines on Vande Bharat trains, providing true local flavors and food that is culturally appropriate. An official statement from the Ministry of Railways claims that this program gives travelers a direct sense of India’s rich culinary legacy, enabling them to savor local specialties while lounging in their train seats. On the 20101/20102 Nagpur-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express, passengers can enjoy Andhra Pradesh’s Andhra Kodi Kura, South India’s Dondakaya Karam Podi Fry, and Maharashtra’s Kanda Poha.

The 20901 MMCT-GNC Vande Bharat Express serves Gujarati cuisine in the form of Methi Thepla, whereas the 26902 SBIB-VRL Vande Bharat Express serves Masala Lauki. Aloo Phulkopi from Odisha may be found on the 22895 Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express. The 20633/34 Kasargod-Trivandrum Vande Bharat Express and the 20631/32 Mangalore-Trivandrum Vande Bharat Express serve Kerala’s traditional spread, which includes white rice, Pachakka Cherupayar Mezhukku Perati, Kadala Curry, Kerala Paratha, plain curd, Palada Payasam, and Appam.
