On Monday The Election Commission of India (ECI) said 642 million people voted in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, calling it “world record”. “We thank each and every one who took part in this festival of democracy,” said by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. Actually he further said that over 312 million women voters cast their vote in the elections. This is actually good news as people in India are giving their vote and with it giving importance to the election.
If you see India is actually a huge country and having a large population. Due to this reason conducting election in India is very difficult and takes huge work. Actually it is good that people in India are actually doing their duty and giving their vote. In fact this shows that people of India take election very seriously and want good result from it. In reality this world record shows that India is actually a big democracy where people get right to vote which they take it very seriously.
