The NSDC has organized two successful Business Matchmaking Seminars in Osaka and Tokyo to promote global talent mobility. The seminars, co-organized with the JITCO and the Embassy of India, seminars aimed to enhance the visibility of Indian SO and highlight India’s value proposition in addressing Japan’s skilled labor shortage. Key governmental bodies, including the MSDE, MEA, and the Embassy of Japan in India, supported the seminars. The seminars focused on two government-to-government initiatives: the Technical Intern Training Program and the Specified Skilled Worker program.
Over 45 participants and 40 companies from Japanese and Indian organizations attended an event in Osaka. Dignitaries, corporates, and recruitment agencies, with guests such as Ms. Shruti Pandey, Deputy Director, International Collaboration, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India and Mr. Bhupendra Singh, Deputy Secretary, OIA Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India attended the event virtually.
A Tokyo event featuring over 50 participants from 40 companies and 17 Indian Sending Organizations, attended by key guests from the Embassy of India, NIFCO Inc, and ZENKEN Corporation, along with NSDC India team. Attendees included Japanese corporates, supervising organizations, recruitment agencies, and Ms. Seeta Sharma, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship who attended the event virtually.
