Nothing unveils Phone (3a) Lite in India, available from December 5

London-based tech company Nothing has launched its latest smartphone, the Phone (3a) Lite, in India, expanding its lineup with a new Blue colour option alongside the classic Black and White variants. The device, featuring the brand’s signature transparent design, will be available from December 5 across Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma and leading retail outlets. Priced at ₹20,999, the 8 GB + 128 GB variant effectively comes to ₹19,999 after bank discounts.

Phone (3a) Lite features a 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display with 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3000 nits peak HDR brightness. It comes with an aluminium internal frame, IP54 resistance and a lightweight build. The device sports a 50 MP primary camera powered by TrueLens Engine 4.0, offering Ultra XDR, Night Mode and 4K video recording at 30 FPS. A 16 MP front camera enables enhanced selfies and video calls, supported by Nothing’s upgraded Glyph Light system for functional alerts.

In Siliguri, retailers expect strong demand for the Blue variant, noting that mid-range smartphones with premium design features have recently gained traction among young buyers. Local stores anticipate higher footfall during the first week of sales, driven by Nothing’s growing popularity in the region. Powered by the Media Tek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, the device supports up to 16 GB RAM (including virtual) and expandable storage of up to 2 TB. A 5000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging and Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15 rounds off the offering, with the company promising three years of major updates and six years of security patches.
