IndiGo will be the first airline at Noida International Airport (NIA) which is slated to be launched by the end of next year. The two signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday “to develop air connectivity to UP and beyond.” The NIA is also in talks with both Indian and foreign airlines and they will work there as well.

The first phase of Noida International Airport will be operational by the end of 2024 with a runway and a terminal with the capacity to handle 1.2 crore passenger traffic annually. After the completion of the fourth phase, the airport will have the capacity to handle 7 crore passengers annually.
