NASA has unveiled a comprehensive blueprint to establish a lunar base by 2030, in partnership with private aerospace firms like SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Lockheed Martin. The project aims to support sustained human presence and research on the Moon’s surface.
The lunar base will include living quarters, labs, and even greenhouses. The plan is part of the Artemis program, which will see astronauts return to the Moon as early as 2026.
India’s ISRO, which recently succeeded in Chandrayaan-3, is expected to contribute lunar data, showcasing growing Indo-U.S. space collaboration in this new frontier.
