Narayan Seva Sansthan launches free limb camp in Siliguri to enhance lives of disabled individuals

Narayan Seva Sansthan, a leading nonprofit organization from Udaipur, Rajasthan, is set to launch its first-ever free artificial limb camp in Siliguri on Sunday, September 22. The event will take place at Uttarbanga Marwari Bhawan, Sevok Road, from 8 AM to 6 PM, aiming to empower individuals with disabilities caused by congenital conditions, accidents, or diseases.

According to Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, Director of Media and Public Relations, the initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to providing high-quality prosthetic solutions. The camp will feature a team of expert orthotists and prosthetic doctors who will conduct thorough evaluations and measurements for durable, lightweight artificial limbs.

With over 310 registrations already received, the camp anticipates attendance from more than 500 individuals. Complimentary meals and refreshments will be provided to all participants. Notably, Achal Singh Bhati, the camp coordinator, highlighted collaborations with over 15 local organizations, enhancing the camp’s reach and impact.This initiative is part of Narayan Seva Sansthan’s broader mission, which has seen the organization fit over 46,722 prosthetic limbs since 1985.
