Narayan Seva Sansthan has successfully organized a Narayan Limb and Calipers Fitment Camp at Shivam Palace, Burdwan Road, where 160 differently-abled individuals received free artificial limbs and calipers. The event, attended by local MLA Dr. Shankarlal Ghosh and SDO IAS Avadh Singhal, highlighted the organization’s continued efforts to improve the lives of people with disabilities in West Bengal.
Dr. Ghosh praised the initiative, stating, “Your services not only transform lives but inspire society to contribute positively.” Singhal also lauded the Sansthan’s expansion from Rajasthan to West Bengal, offering full support to the cause. The camp, supervised by Achal Singh Bhati, included a ceremonial lamp-lighting and a parade showcasing the beneficiaries’ new limbs. Over 15 local organizations, including the North Bengal Marwari Seva Trust, actively participated, with volunteers receiving certificates of appreciation.
Siliguri’s growing support for social initiatives like this reflects an emerging market for corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the region. Local businesses are increasingly collaborating with non-profits to create positive social impact, enhancing community goodwill while contributing to regional development. Narayan Seva Sansthan’s successful execution of the event exemplifies the rising demand for inclusive, life-enhancing services in Siliguri’s market. Founded in 1985, Narayan Seva Sansthan has helped over 36,000 differently-abled individuals worldwide and continues to expand its reach in West Bengal.
