Mukesh Chhabra, a 42-year-old casting director opens up about Salman Khan popularly known as ‘Bhaijaan’, why people misinterpret him. He revealed that the actor lives a simple life in a 1 bhk apartment in his Galaxy apartment and very few people know about it. The casting director has worked with many celebrities including SRK and Salman Khan.
During a chat with Ranveer Allahabadia, Mukesh Chhabra spoke in a Hindi language, “He (Salman Khan) is the only person who is always available to everyone, who stands to support you. He is honest and people misunderstand honesty. That’s the problem, when you say something honestly, people take it differently.” He also added that the actor brings out different moods just like Shahrukh and Aamir Khan due to pressure. “Aapko check karna parta hai bhai ka mood kaisa hai (You have to check Salman’s mood before you arrive),” he said.
He called Salman ‘Bhagavan Ka Banda (Man of God)’ as he enjoys popularity among all age groups. “He lives a simple life. Few people know that where he lives, it is actually a 1BHK apartment. It has a sofa, a dining table, a small area where he talks to people, a small gym and a room. In other words, the biggest star of this country is Salman Khan. He leads a very simple life. He doesn’t want to buy fancy brands or expensive things. He eats everything, lives a normal life. It’s not his artistic process, it’s just who he is. I have been in touch with him for 15 years now, I have not seen him change,” added Mukesh.
