MSU pioneers the Skill Hub for International Employment to empower Sikkimese youth

Medhavi Skills University (MSU) inaugurated the Skill Hub for International Employment (SHINE) in Manan Kendra, Sikkim, on September 12, 2023, marking a significant milestone for the university and the state. The event was graced with the presence of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang.

SHINE, a partnership between MSU and the Government of Sikkim, aims to provide skill-integrated higher education and upskilling to Sikkim’s youth, preparing them for overseas mobility. The SHINE Project Centre in Sikun and Medhavi Poly Diagnostic Centre in Topakhani were unveiled at an inauguration ceremony, aiming to offer affordable medical testing to Sikkim residents. Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, Co-Founder & Pro-Chancellor of Medhavi Skills University, expressed his enthusiasm stating, “We’re here to open doors to international opportunities and illuminate the path to success. With boundless enthusiasm, we embrace this vision of making Sikkim a hub of higher education, where aspirations know no bounds.”

Medhavi Skills University, in collaboration with employers and vocational institutions from Germany, Australia, Japan, and the Philippines, will provide comprehensive training in foreign languages, cultural adaptation, and technical competencies for specific employment fields, ensuring candidates are well-prepared for their chosen foreign employers.
