Siliguri, Nov 25: Panitanki Police Station has arrested Akshay More, owner of a mobile servicing store, for cheating customers. The accused has three shops in Siliguri and was arrested following a complaint by a customer.
According to reports, a customer had given a Samsung tablet for repair at Akshay More’s shop in Panitanki More. After receiving the repaired tablet, the customer got it checked on suspicion and found that counterfeit material was used in it. Despite this, the shopkeeper claimed that the material was original and charged more money for the repair.
Later, the customer lodged a written complaint at the Panitanki Chowki. Based on the complaint, the police started an investigation and arrested the accused. The arrested accused was produced in Siliguri Court on Monday, where further investigation into the case is underway.
