Mizoram Meitei communities asked to leave the state for future safety

Amidst violence in Manipur, the video of two Kuki women paraded being stripped naked in the daylight gone viral; the Meitei communities in different region of the Northeast have been witnessing hate.

Soon the Mizoram Government has asked the Meitei community to go back till the situation gets normalize in the state, Mizoram, for their safety.

To reports, at least 40 Meiteis have reached Assam from Mizoram and they have been kept at the building of the Lakhipur Development Block in Binnakandi area.

Also the community reported the media no attacks in Mizoram towards the community as of now. The Mizoram and Assam Govt. have been providing all the security and needs to these people.

Additinally, On Saturday, the Mizoram government reassured the Meitei community living in the northeastern state of safety and told them not to pay heed to rumours.
