A mild blast was reported at an Army Camp of Lichubari in Assam’s Jorhat district and United Liberation Front of Asom (I) has claimed its responsibility for the blast, on Thursday.
According to the reports, after grenade blast in Sivasagar and Tinsukia district this is the third time attack claimed by ULFA-I. Also the blast was mild and no casualty is reported.
To earlier reports, the attack was done by the ULFA-I for the arrogance of Assam DGP G.P Singh taking responsibility in wiping out the banned militant from the state.
Futher the DGP G.P Singh has also posted on X saying, “We are committed to wipe out the remnants of terrorism that impedes growth of our state. And for that, if we have to sacrifice our life, we shall not hesitate, nor shall we waver from our determination to use full might of law against those who stand in path of our state’s growth, progress and development.”
