Mahindra Tractors introduced Mahindra OJA tractors in Cape Town

Mahindra Tractors, a part of the Mahindra Group and the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volume, has officially launched its much-anticipated, future-ready range of tractors – the Mahindra OJA – at Future scape, an event held in Cape Town, South Africa.

Mahindra’s OJA, derived from the Sanskrit word “Ojas,” which means powerhouse of Energy, OJA is Mahindra’s most ambitious global light-weight tractor platform. Developed in collaboration with Mahindra Research Valley, AFS R&D Centre, and Mitsubishi Mahindra Agriculture Machinery, it offers a transformative shift in light-weight 4WD tractor design and engineering, delivering cutting-edge tractor technology innovation. Mr. Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra &Mahindra said, “Unveiling 7 agile Lightweight 4WD Tractors Light Weight 4WD OJA tractors (21-40HP) in India, equipped with pioneering technologies, truly embodies our commitment to revolutionize farming worldwide.”

Mahindra showcased new tractors on three OJA platforms in Cape Town, including Sub Compact, Compact, and Small Utility models. The Indian market will receive seven models with 4WD, ranging from 20HP to 40HP for various applications. The OJA range will be launched in North America, ASEAN, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Europe, and the SAARC region. Mahindra will also debut in the ASEAN region with Thailand in 2024.
