Lobby associated with RSS inciting protesting doctors in Rajasthan: CM

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, claimed on Saturday that a “lobby” connected to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was encouraging and leading private doctors who were protesting the Right to Health Bill in the state in the wrong directions while patients were in pain.
The doctors who are protesting argue that the law’s implementation will make it more difficult for them to operate effectively and that local authorities would become more involved.
When asked about the ongoing strike, the chief minister informed reporters that people have been granted the right to receive health care for free up to Rs 25 lakh because the government will pay for the treatment under the Bill. He also urged the doctors to put an end to their opposition.
