On Saturday, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, along with police officers and Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) officials, visited the Baghajatin park and took stock of the preparations for the live screening of Cricket World Cup Final. It is expected that a huge crowd will visit the park to witness the extravagant final match. To avoid traffic congestion, two-wheelers and other vehicles will not be permitted to be parked outside the venue. A parking zone will be arranged at the grounds of Siliguri College. In this regard, Mayor Goutam Deb stated that police personnel will be deployed at all the gates of the Baghajatin Park and in addition for the convenience of the spectators the height of the screen will be increased for the final match.
The official is trying their best to make the moment beautiful and memorable. Tomorrow everyone will enjoy the match as India is playing wonderful and selected to final in this World Cup. In Siliguri making this type of arrangement actually help to promote sports like cricket among people and recently there is also a demand of making a separate cricket stadium in Siliguri.
