The leading sustainable energy and electric vehicle start-up in India, Simple Energy, has officially unveiled the Simple ONE, an affordably priced entry-level electric 2-wheeler with a starting price of INR 1,45,000. After going through multiple cycles of improvement, the Simple ONE is finally ready to make its mark on Indian roadways.
The Simple ONE booking launch received a terrific reaction, with the company registering more than 1 lakh pre-reservations in the first 18 months. Following the formal debut, the firm intends to gradually facilitate client deliveries and scale up its retail operations over the following 12 months.
The Simple ONE sprints to 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds, making it the quickest E2W in its sector and having the greatest range in India. In order to prevent thermal runaways, it also incorporates a thermal management system that was developed with IIT-Indore.
