Jindal (India) Limited, part of the B.C. Jindal Group and a leading manufacturer of downstream steel products, hosted its flagship retailer meet ‘Milaap’ in Malda, West Bengal. Organized with its authorized distributor Sumit Enterprise, the event drew participation from senior company officials and nearly 125 retailers, underscoring the company’s push to deepen engagement in eastern markets. The meet showcased Jindal’s advanced coated steel portfolio, including Jindal Sabrang, a vibrant colour-coated steel range with superior corrosion resistance, and Jindal NeuColor+, a premium offering blending technology with durability and aesthetic appeal. Company representatives highlighted their focus on innovation and retailer-centric strategies to meet evolving consumer demand.
A spokesperson for Jindal (India) Limited said, “Through ‘Milaap,’ we directly engage with our retailer partners, understand their needs, and introduce solutions that empower them with product diversity and quality.” In Malda, the region’s growing infrastructure and housing demand presents a strong opportunity for high-performance coated steel products. Retailers welcomed the company’s outreach, viewing it as a chance to expand offerings and strengthen their competitive edge.
The event also addressed regional challenges and feedback, aligning with Jindal’s broader expansion plans. Recently, its subsidiary Jindal India Steel Tech Limited (JISTL) secured approval for a ₹15,000 crore steel plant in Odisha, reaffirming the group’s growth trajectory. Founded in 1952, Jindal (India) Limited operates under the B.C. Jindal Group, a diversified conglomerate with a turnover exceeding ₹18,000 crore, spanning steel, packaging films, energy, and renewable ventures.
