Javed Akhtar has said his X account was “hacked”, in which a “totally innocent message about the Indian team for the Paris Olympics 2024 was given under his name.
The micro-blogging site was used by 79-year-old, to express his views on a range of topics, shared the update on his page on Sunday night.
“My X ID is hacked. A message came ostensibly from my account about our Indian team for Olympics. It is completely innocent but not sent by me.
He never disclosed that he had learned of the alleged security breach or detailed the content of the alleged posts sent from his verified handle.
The veteran industry also informed that his 4.6 million followers on X ” is in the process of doing a complaint” with the relevant authorities on the social media platform.
