Actor Irrfan Khan who passed away in the month of April, 2020 was one of the popular actor in bollywood. He has worked in many movies like Paan Singh Tomar, The Lunchbox, Piku, Haider etc. He tied the knot with a writer Sutapa Sikdar in the year 1995.
His wife Sutapa is planning to write a book by exploring on a funny side of the actor.
At the book launch of film critic Shubhra Gupta’s book on the Angrezi Medium actor, Sutapa told PTI, “I want to write a book on Irrfan but I don’t want it to be a sentimental journey. I want it to be a funny journey, which I shared with him. People take him as a very intimidating and very serious kind of person but he was not in real life. The book is not ready at all (but it will be ready) sometime.”
She added, “In a film script, (the story) can’t be preachy. It has to be entertaining, people must get entertained but at the same time, the intention should be there.”
