The Solapur Garment Manufacturers Association (SGMA) is set to hold an International uniform and garment exhibition in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The event, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words nine years ago, aims to attract 200 leading brands with over 10,000 designs of uniform clothes and 20,000 designs of uniform garments.
The exhibition will take place at the Shri Kashi Varanasi Din Dayal Handicraft Complex from December 16th to 18th. The 7th Uniform Exhibition, organized by SGMA, will be held in Kashi Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, the largest state with immense potential for growth in the textile industry.
The exhibition will feature over 200 brands showcasing their products under one roof. Leading companies such as Mafatlal, Valji, Qmax, Sangam, and Sparsh will participate, showcasing over 10,000 designs of uniform clothes and 20,000 designs of garments. Other accessories such as ties, belts, school shoes, socks, bags, blazers, and garment-related machines will also be on display. The event is expected to reach $25 billion in 2030. The exhibition is a significant step towards promoting the growth of the uniform industry in India.
