Saudi Arabia has revealed plans to construct a floating industrial city named “Neom Ocean.” Located on the Red Sea, the futuristic city will serve as a hub for technology, tourism, and maritime industries.
The city will feature floating platforms connected by underwater tunnels, powered entirely by renewable energy. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman described it as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and reduce dependence on oil.
International investors have shown interest in the ambitious project, which is expected to create thousands of jobs and attract millions of tourists annually. Environmental experts are closely monitoring the development to ensure sustainable practices are followed.
