Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has opened the Taj Guras Kutir Resort & Spa in Gangtok, the Hon’ Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) graced the occasion with his presence on Sep 25. The resort offers panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga. The resort is a blend of Sikkimese aesthetics and contemporary design. The resort features a serene hideout with architecture showcasing indigenous culture and a blend of Sikkimese aesthetics and contemporary design. Each spacious room features a unique Thangka, a local Buddhism-inspired painting.
The resort offers a unique gastronomic experience with its forest-themed diner Machan, Soi & Sake, and Guras Lounge & Bar serving Hi-tea and cocktails. The resort also features banquet and meeting rooms ideal for hosting social events and corporate gatherings. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 11 hotels with three under development in North East India.
