Recently the police officials of the Siliguri police station successfully recovered the e-rickshaw that was allegedly stolen from in front of the owner’s residence. The incident led to the arrest of the accused Subhash Barman (40). As per reports, on January 7, an e-rickshaw was stolen from in front of the residence of Jagadish Chandra Sarkar, a resident of the Rathkhola area. Subsequently, the owner, Jagadish, looked for his missing vehicle and later filed a complaint at the Siliguri Police Station on Sunday.
The anti-crime wing of the Siliguri Police Station initiated an investigation into the incident and arrested the accused Subhash Barman from Debashish Colony in Dakshin Bharatnagar, Fuleswari. In fact during this, the stolen vehicle was also recovered from his possession. On Monday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri Court while the incident is under further investigation. This is actually very bad incident and people need to be aware of these things so that in future they don’t face this problem.
