In an attempt to avoid crashing into a passenger bus a goods-laden truck rammed into a residence on the side of the road

Cooch Behar, 20th December: In a horrifying mishap, a goods-laden truck rammed into a residence on the side of the road in an attempt to avoid crashing into a passenger bus. The incident took place in front of a petrol station located in the Mathabhanga College More area leaving two gravely injured. As per reports, on Wednesday morning, the truck was on its way to the Mathabhanga College when a passenger bus was heading towards the opposite direction. In an attempt to evade collision, the truck driver took a sharp turn when it collided with an electric pole on the side of the road and consequently crashed into the house. As a result, the driver and another individual suffered significant injuries. The injured have been rescued and are currently undergoing treatment at the Mathabhanga Divisional Hospital. Upon receiving the information, the Mathabhanga police and fire personnel arrived on the scene. The entire incident is under further investigation.

Today road safety in India becomes very serious issue and people need to take it very seriously. First thing is to follow traffic rules as by it road accident will not happen. Actually it becomes a very basic need and responsibility to help the victim so that they survive after any accident. In reality today road is very important infrastructure for any place as development of that place depends on it. We need to change our mentality and make a pledge to stop road accident.
