Illegal arms factory at North Dinajpur on the Bengal-Bihar border

Before the panchayat polls, the whereabouts of the illegal arms factory was found at Goalpokhar-Islampur in North Dinajpur on the Bengal-Bihar border. In addition to incomplete firearms, a large number of weapon-making tools were recovered. 3 people have been arrested. Arms recovered in Cooch Behar too, 5 arrested.
After Khagaria, Sastipur, Katihar, now Purnia. Again, traces of illegal weapons factories were found on the Bengal-Bihar border. Trafficking is being done in various districts of West Bengal. The police are worried about the incident in the face of panchayat polls. Weapons are being manufactured to be smuggled to West Bengal in a factory in Purnia. After getting this information from Calcutta STF and Bihar STF, the police of Dhandah police station of Purnia district raided the factory on Goalpokhar-Bihar border of North Dinajpur on Tuesday.
20 semi-finished country pistols, 19 pistol barrels, 20 pistol sliders, drill machine, a lot of firearms items including a country pistol were recovered from the factory. Three people have been arrested. Earlier on last Friday evening, a raid was conducted in Amdabad area of Bihar’s Katihar on Ratua border of Malda. 2 firearms, an incomplete barrel, an incomplete firearm and various weapons manufacturing tools were recovered from the illegal arms factory.
