ICICI Bank launches senior-centric services and cultural initiative in West Bengal

ICICI Bank has announced a strategic move to enhance its services for senior citizens in West Bengal, alongside a vibrant cultural initiative. The bank has implemented specialized desks with Relationship Managers (RMs) at all branches in the state, focusing on personalized assistance for seniors’ banking needs, including form submissions, fixed deposits, and more.

In addition to branch-level support, ICICI Bank is rolling out doorstep banking services, aiming to provide unparalleled convenience for seniors across the region. To amplify awareness about these enhancements, the bank has launched the “Moner Moton Banking” campaign, featuring renowned actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Sabyasachi Chakraborty. The campaign, broadcasted on popular Bengali channels and complemented by outdoor advertising, aims to highlight the bank’s commitment to senior-friendly services.

Furthermore, ICICI Bank is championing Bengal’s cultural richness with the introduction of “Tarar Khonje,” a talent search exclusively for residents and NRIs above 50. The competition spans various categories, including dance, music, poetry, comedy, and photography, showcasing the state’s diverse talent pool. With over 5,000 registrations received in a short span, the initiative has already gained significant traction. Akash Raghav, State Head for West Bengal and North East at ICICI Bank, expressed the bank’s dedication to providing seamless banking experiences for seniors while celebrating Bengal’s cultural heritage. Winners of “Tarar Khonje” will earn the opportunity to feature on television alongside actor Prosenjit Chatterjee.
