Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its National Road Safety Awareness Campaign to Aizawl, intending to educate college students and staff about safe riding habits. Over 1200 college students and staff members attended the three-day event at Govt. T Romana College in Aizawl, Mizoram. HMSI has educated nearly 50,000 adults and children in the Northeast region since its inception, focusing on responsible road usage and cultivating safe riding habits.
HMSI’s National Road Safety Awareness program includes a scientifically designed learning module, practical learning, interactive sessions, and existing riders honing riding skills. Honda also conducts fun educational activities like road safety games and quizzes to ensure young students learn more about road safety.
The program is interactive and engaging, catering to a wide range of age groups, from children to youth. It is conducted in schools, colleges, government institutions, and non-governmental organizations. Activities include interactive games, role-playing, virtual experiences, and more. The initiative has reached over 5.7 million Indians.
