The National Road Safety Awareness Campaign was launched in Bijni, Assam, by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), reinforcing the necessity of creating a culture of safe riding practices in India. Honda places a high premium on worldwide road safety. More than 2500 college students and staff members were exposed to safe riding procedures during this two-day course at Bijni College in Bijni thanks to HMSI. The age-appropriate road safety learning modules were used by the road safety instructors at HMSI to increase everyone’s retention of the importance of driving safely.
HMSI’s National Road Safety Awareness program used a scientifically designed learning module, practical learning, interactive session, and existing driver-honed riding skills. Fun educational activities such as road safety games and quizzes were also conducted to ensure young students could learn more about road safety.
Mr. Vinay Dhingra – Senior Director, HR, Admin, IT & Corporate Affairs, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said, “Road safety education is essential for developing a road safety mindset. HMSI has been conducting Road safety awareness campaign to develop more responsible road users across the country.“
