Hollywood Walk of Fame 2026 class announced: Deepika Padukone joins global icons like Emily Blunt, Rami Malek, and Timothée Chalamet

Deepika Padukone, an actress, will soon receive her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She has made history as the first Indian actress to be recognized with a star on a famous sidewalk in Los Angeles. In 2026, a large number of names will be added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. There are 35 well-known names in the class, which stand for global icons in comedy, TV series, movies, music, and Broadway. Deepika was chosen as one of the 2026 Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026 honorees in the Motion Pictures category. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce featured Deepika live with international celebs like Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, and Stanley Tucci. Hundreds of nominations are used to choose the recipients. Eugenio Derbez and fellow Walk of Famers Richard Blade took turns unveiling the list on Wednesday.

Film, television, live theater and performance, recording, and sports entertainment were the five categories in which inductees were chosen.
Other members of the class of 2026 include former NBA player turned sports analyst Shaquille O’Neal, co-anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos of Good Morning America, who will take part in a double ceremony, and actors Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Molly Ringwald, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rami Malek, and Noah Wyle.Director Tony Scott and Italian special effects artist Carlo Rambaldi will receive posthumous honors.

Deepika’s name was revealed over a live feed. She is the first actress from India to be honored with this honor. In XXX: Return of Xander Cage, she made her Hollywood debut alongside Vin Diesel. The movie came out in 2017.
