Himanta’s safety is in danger from Khalistan; a case has been opened, says the Assam DGP

Gyanendra Pratap Singh, the director general of police in Assam, stated on Sunday that the threat made by a pro-Khalistan group against chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was being taken very seriously.
Sikh for Justice founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, a designated person terrorist, was allegedly heard threatening Sarma in an audio clip that was leaked to several journalists.
