Godrej to improve access to quality healthcare in Guwahati

As part of a charitable endeavor, Godrej donated cutting-edge equipment to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital to improve its medical capabilities. Godrej donated four cutting-edge anesthetic machines and twelve cutting-edge OT tables to the operating rooms at GMCH for a total of $52,93,926/-. With this help, the hospital will be able to address local healthcare needs and increase standards for patient care in the area.

The new facilities were unveiled in an inauguration ceremony attended by Assam’s Health Minister Shri Keshab Mahanta. The inauguration ceremony at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital marked the beginning of a new era in healthcare accessibility and reinforced Godrej and GMCH’s commitment to serving the community. The ceremony was attended by government officials and esteemed members of the medical fraternity.
