Flipkart, India’s homegrown e-commerce giant, is set to launch the eighth edition of its flagship Samarth sale event, ‘Crafted by Bharat,’ on August 15, 2024, to commemorate India’s 78th Independence Day. The sale will highlight more than 100 traditional art forms, including wooden art, metal-casting, and traditional furniture. It will also feature a dedicated storefront for women, rural entrepreneurs, LGBTQ+ communities, and MSMEs from cities like Agra, Jaipur, and Varanasi, underscoring Flipkart’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
