Zarine Khan, the wife of veteran actor Sanjay Khan and mother of Sussanne and Zayed Khan, has died at the age of 81 from age-related health issues. She passed away in her home in Mumbai. Zarine is survived by her husband, Sanjay Khan, and their four children: Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan.
Before her marriage to Sanjay Khan in 1966, Zarine briefly ventured into Bollywood, featuring in films like “Tere Ghar Ke Saamne” and “Ek Phool Do Mali.” Following her film career, she transitioned into a successful profession as an interior designer. This passion for design was later adopted by her daughter, Sussanne Khan, who also became a notable interior designer.
She published a cookbook titled “Family Secret,” which features recipes that have been passed down within her family, showcasing culinary traditions and heritage.
Zarine Khan celebrated her 81st birthday in July, and her daughter Sussanne Khan honored the occasion by posting a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. The post included a montage that showcased a mix of candid memories from their childhood as well as more recent moments spent together, highlighting the bond between mother and daughter.
