In order to fully recuperate from the foot injury she suffered prior to the season’s European leg, two-time Olympic medallist P.V. Sindhu has chosen to skip all of the remaining BWF Tour tournaments in 2025. The 30-year-old shuttler from Hyderabad stated that she made the choice after speaking with her support staff and medical professionals, including Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, a well-known sports orthopaedist. “Even though it is never easy to accept, injuries are an unavoidable part of every athlete’s career, and my foot ailment from before the European leg has not totally healed. They put you to the test in terms of your patience and fortitude, but they also give you the motivation to bounce back stronger,” Sindhu said in a statement.
Due to a foot ailment, P.V. Sindhu will not be participating in the 2025 BWF Tour
