CPI (M) is going to form an alliance for panchayat elections with other parties except Trinamool BJP but not at the state level but at the district or local level. This was announced by CPIM State Secretary Mohammad Salim in a press conference at CPI (M) party office in Cooch Behar district today. In a press conference on this day, he said that the district committee is meeting ahead of the panchayat elections.
