Canara Robeco Launches 19-Day Investor Education Bus Tour Across West Bengal

Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Ltd., India’s second oldest asset manager, is set to roll out its ‘Nivesh Bus Yatra’ across five West Bengal cities—Kolkata, Howrah, Durgapur, Asansol, and Siliguri—from June 16. The 19-day outreach campaign is designed to raise awareness about mutual funds and long-term investment planning.

The initiative leverages a specially designed bus as a mobile digital education hub, engaging residents through interactive video content and live sessions at markets, housing areas, and key public junctions.

“Informed investors contribute to a stable and dynamic financial ecosystem,” said Rajnish Narula, MD & CEO of Canara Robeco AMC. “The Nivesh Yatra reinforces our commitment to investor empowerment.” Gaurav Goyal, Head – Sales & Marketing, highlighted the campaign’s goal to dispel myths and simplify fund investing. A rapidly industrializing city with a rising middle-income population, presents strong potential for mutual fund penetration. Its evolving investment landscape, driven by increased digital adoption and financial aspirations, makes it an ideal location for expanding investor outreach and long-term economic participation.
