BUURTZORG expands its Home Healthcare Plans in North Bengal districts

A leading provider of community-based home healthcare services from the Netherlands, BUURTZORG announces its expansion to Siliguri, India. The new BUURTZORG office in Siliguri will provide high-quality, compassionate home healthcare services to the community.

In view of the rising prevalence of chronic diseases among the elderly people and the need for better primary and postoperative care, BUURTZORG, operating since 2017 in India, is expanding its operations and plans to setup caregiving teams in the locality in Siliguri and other areas of North Bengal.

BUURZORG over the years has invested in creating the skilled work force and provided more than 800000 hours of patient services in the cities of Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow and Varanasi. BUURTZORG deploys independent teams of 6-12 caregivers and Nurses in the ratio of 9:3 in the locality of 5000-10000 population. Nurses do the assessment of the patient and develop the care plan, instruct, train and monitor the caregivers and regularly check the patient’s status and development. With this model BUURTZORG strives to support the patient to re-gain better health and more independence rather than just making the daily life a bit easier.
